The pink bathroom is one of the shared bathrooms in the B&B. They are shared by the guests as the villa is not built to be a B&B but as a huge family house.
This one is located at the end of the long hallway. It is between the Shady (twin room) and the Rosemary (double) room. There is a shower, a sink and a toilet. When a family books both the Rosemary and the Shady room, the pink bathroom is their dedicated bathroom.
The water is heated by the sun in the solar boiler on the roof of the B&B. A magnificent way to use the power of the sun. Down side is that the water takes a long way to arrive at the shower. As the pipe goes over the roof, 4 meters down and than about 7 meters under the house to the central point. From there it’s 4 meter to the tap of the shower. Especially in winter, the first 20 to 30 liters of water are cold. To safe water, you can catch those liters in a bucket. I use this water to flush the toilet or water the plants.
So it is best to take a shower at the end of the day. To have optimal use of the solar heated water! And remember, Jordan is the second poorest water country in the world so please keep this in mind when you take a shower.
