B&B Petra Fig Tree Villa’s garden
The villa is embraced on two sides by this big garden and has nice scenting rosemary and rose bushes, fruit trees and colourful flowers as well as a wild flower carpet in spring. This garden attracts many birds like Wheatear, Palestine Sunbird, Bulbul and Common Linnet.
The garden gives vegetables to cook with, lemons to make that sweet and sour lemon curd and olives for the oil. And abricots and plumbs in springtime, figs and grapes in summer and quince and apples at the end of summer. With sugar and some extra love I bottle these fruits to spoil my guests with their breakfast or dessert!
From the back garden you have a marvellous view on the mountains around Petra and it’s a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. Just find your peace of mind on one of the terraces in the sun or the shade and let your thoughts go…
