Wouldn’t it be great to have a revitalising weekend with a nice hike, delicious Jordanian food and an energising chair massage? (Certainly, it can be a mid-week stay too, as long if you stay at least two nights).
In addition, there is time to relax in between the activities. Enjoy a wide view from one of the terraces with a coffee or tea. Stretch your legs by going for a hike to visit the Petra museum. Put your legs up and start with that fantastic book that you always wanted to read.
We composed a weekend|two nights visit to suit your wishes. So grant yourself with a revitalising stay in B&B Petra Fig Tree Villa. This is what your stay could look like!
I will welcome you in the late afternoon, early evening. You can drop your luggage in the room and freshen up a bit. Probably there is some time to watch the sunset with a cup of tea and sweets.
Dinner time. I serve a three-course vegetarian menu. With soup, the main dish with a salad and dessert. Water is served with dinner.
You can spend the evening as you like. Maybe try to count all the stars above the Petra mountains or just enjoy the evening in silence.
After breakfast, we will take you for a surprise jeep tour in the Little Petra area with spectacular views, the spring in Bidebide and a stop to hunt for fossils. Interesting to know is that, more than 200 million years ago, the Tethys Sea flooded the Petra area and other parts of what now is Jordan. If you are into bird watching, you can be lucky to see some interesting birds. Therefore it’s good to bring binoculars if you have them. For sure, you’ll have beautiful views over Petra and the Little Petra area. The tour will take about three hours. We will have a break at a beautiful spot to have a picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, it’s time to spoil yourself by a chair massage by me. On the special massage chair that I brought from The Netherlands. Afterwards you can relax the rest of the afternoon on one of the terraces around the B&B.
Bring back your book and completely dive into it, have a little nap or play some games with your children.
Dinner is served at a family home in Wadi Musa. That could be Maglouba, the up-side-down dish, Mansaf with chicken or Kapsa.
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye. Or………
If you have more time, you could stay for another night and use this day to visit Petra. Maybe hike up to Jebel Haroun or enter Petra at the Monastary, via the back road hike!
So many possibilities!
For example for a family with two kids, younger than 12 years, the price of this weekend stay is xxx JOD.

If you want to stay with a couple, or a group of friends to enjoy the revitalising weekend, get in touch for a price quote.
Of course it’s also possible to stay in the B&B without the mentioned activities.
